If you're like me there, at one time or another, have thought in the history of medieval times. In particular, one can imagine what it was for people who are living in this period. An Introduction

So you may be asking, when was the medieval age, or middle age start? It lasted nearly a millennium (1000 years) and usually disappear after the date of the Western Roman Empire (5th century) at the beginning of the modern era (16th century).

The Middle Ages is the average age in a series of three "ages" of European history. They are the civilization of classical antiquity, medieval, and the modern era.

The Middle Ages was the first to see the coherent development of the western and northern Europe. Many European nations of today were formed in part because of the events that took place during the Middle Ages.

In the Media

I'm sure many of you have seen the film The Lord of the Rings. It's a great movie to be sure, and takes many elements from the Middle Ages. Of course, it also has many fantasy elements such as dragons, elves and hobbits, to entertain the spectators. Another film that refers to ancient history is the film "Monty Python and the Holy Grail. This film is different from The Lord of the Rings "as it travels more comedic route. The movie gives a comical, satirical exploration of the historical period known as the Middle Ages.

It's not just the film industry that uses history to sell the products either. The game industry is known to have many games related to the history of the Middle Ages. Some more notable include the Stronghold, the Diablo series and of course, the world of the Warcraft series.

Medieval costumes are not just for Halloween. Many people will have a party and go medieval theme. When it comes to customer usage of the Middle Ages, the possibilities are endless. Of course you would see in a play like Romeo and Juliet or Julius Caesar, but also see medieval customers at other sites as well.

Many areas will have a ball drop, which is like a fall festival. They are medieval balls where people who work in the festival of clothing and good food and games are also of the medieval period. They are very interesting to attend because some people come into your character and even do the accent. It's a great way to learn about the history, looks amazing and fun costumes. The atmosphere in one of these festivals is much like you would find at the time. They have roast pork and drinking cups. There are usually dancers medieval ethnic customers track, as well as lute and pipe players to walk in the middle and such. These events usually attract many people and dramatic and fun.

Another place you can see a lot of medieval costumes is in restaurants that have a medieval theme. Theme restaurants are very popular and the most popular is called Medieval Times. The Middle Ages is where you can watch a tournament and as you would eat in medieval times. Why are we so interested in medieval we're going to lavish extensions to make things seem real? As Americans we are interested in medieval times, because it is so basic and simple in comparison with our lives. It barbaric and very entertaining to watch. The tournaments that are on the dinner theater is so exciting places to see, because you get to take sides and do battle down. The costumes take the crowd to medieval times.
Medieval costumes are part of the story itself. Why is the suit of the person that you are using, you can tell what their social status. If you see a player, chances are you're looking for a plain medieval costume, which is basic. If you see someone of higher value as a man or such, they will have a three in costume and will have bright colors and great detail. Medieval costumes are very detailed for the lords and of a higher class. Medieval costumes are smooth, dark, sometimes broken and obviously, for those who are lower-class skills and are generally men.
