What year in medieval costumes to wear like this?

The photograph shows some stills from Hollywood films (Braveheart ???), With suits that are less than authentic. They are trying to describe the attire of the approximately 1300, but many things are wrong and much of this is pure fantasy. Hollywood is not intended to present the story in a genuine and realistic – you need to look for new historic-enactors, history enthusiasts of researchers living and clothing for the realism of fact. The hoop skirts and low cut bodices you mention appear in Tudor times, following the medieval period, from about the 1490s.
